''Agonopterix mendesi'' is a moth of the Oecophoridae family which is endemic to Portugal. The wingspan is 18-20 mm. The forewings are ochreous with a dark fuscous spot near the dorsal side of the base and with a scattering of greyish fuscous and ochreous brown scales, forming small spots at the vein ends.
